Inspecting Health DataThe Department of the Health and Human Services has launched a web-based tool that allows individuals to monitor and measure the nation's health care system performance.

In an attempt to make the healthcare system more transparent, this project collaborates data from various areas of the government on ten critical topics, such as access to care, cost and affordability, prevention, coverage, workforce and health information technology. Users can sort data by age, sex, income level, insurance coverage and geography, as well as compare data trends.
